Vimar's new flush-mounted USB ports have been conceived from this premise, with the aim of simplifying everyday life and providing rapid recharging of the electronic devices that more and more fill our lives, i.e. smartphones, tablets, MP3 players, GPS navigators.
This is possible thanks to the characteristics which render these ports unique. Vimar USB ports are among the most powerful on the market. The 1-module version – whose reduced size makes it ideal for adding to existing systems where space is limited and new plugs cannot be added – can deliver an electric current of 1.5 A. The 2-module version, which also features a High Power outlet, can provide up to 2.1 A. This makes it possible to recharge even the most powerful devices – like a 10" tablet, for example – in less than 6 hours, making it especially suitable for hotels, ships and bedrooms, where devices frequently need overnight recharging.
On top of this, since the current provided is outstandingly stable, the Vimar USB ports ensure safe recharging and correct functioning of devices during the recharging process. All thanks to the fact that these ports benefit from Vimar's elevated quality standards, as demonstrated by IMQ certification.
Thanks to their versatile colouring options, the new USB ports can be  integrated with cover plates from the Eikon, Arké and Plana series, offering a perfect balance between simplicity and elegant detailing.
