Richard Meier & Partners Architects Interview with Richard Meier - Refining basic principles and moving forward
Course Description The course comprises an interview with Richard Meier in which the architect considers his long career, the principles that underpin his projects and the successes and difficulties encountered on the way. The course also includes a further text illustrating some of Richard Meier’s major projects, how they fit into their particular context and the design strategies adopted to ensure this. These texts are completed with pictures, renderings and design sketches. On completing the course, you will be able to describe Meier’s career path, the key principles underpinning his work, and the features that remain constant or vary depending on space and time.
