Born in 1959, Alessandro Arvalli graduated in civil engineering from Padua University in 1985. Since 1996 he has been the sole Director of S.I.I.S. srl, the parent company of a group of engineering companies specialized in construction project management, structural planning and structural construction software. Since 2000 Alessandro has been a technical consultant with Beni Stabili Spa, a subsidiary of Compagnia Finanziaria di Investimento Spa based in Treviso, the Padua City Council, Interporto di Padova Spa, Gruppo Supermercati Pam, Venice, Autogrill Spa, Milan. Since 2007 he has been in charge of Beni Stabili Spa’s B.U. Development Portfolio.
Professor of Architecture at Drury University in Springfield
Maurizio Sabini received his professional degree in architecture in 1981 from the Istituto Universitario di Architettura of Venice and a post-professional Master of Architecture degree in 1982. He is currently a professor at Hammons School of Architecture, Dury University.
Valerio Paolo Mosco received his PhD from the same University in 1998, with a thesis on iconology in contemporary architecture. Subsequently he worked as a contractor professor at IUAV, University of Venice, where he became researcher and later qualified as associate professor. He taught as a visiting professor in I.I.T. and held courses at the University of Brescia; University of Ferrara and at Polytechnic of Milan and History of Architecture at IED in Rome. Nowadays he teaches at IUAV and at the University of Navarra in Pamplona in Spain. In addition to being a writer and journalist, he won three international design competitions and was awarded with different mentions. He is director of the magazine Viceversa.
Editor-in-Chief and Founder of THE PLAN
After graduating in Economy from the University of Bologna, she specialized in International Relationships at John Hopkins University. Driven by a great passion for architecture, she established the magazine THE PLAN, now holding the position of Editor in Chief. She is married to Nicola Leonardi, co-founder of THE PLAN, and together they have two children.
