HAWKINS \ BROWN
Roger Hawkins and Russell Brown set up Hawkins\Brown in 1988 with a vision of an architectural practice with a committed social and cultural agenda, a vision that holds true today.
Hawkins\Brown first projects were a series of community buildings in the London Borough of Newham, a client that we still work with today. In the early 1990’s we won our first projects on the London Underground. The reputation we built with the client led to us being selected by Crossrail to take on the giant Tottenham Court Road underground station, and we are now delivering three Crossrail stations.
Our innovative and collaborative approach to practice has never changed. We started life as a design and build company, in business with our client – the only way to get a project off the ground. The world is a very different place now, and we are still reinventing the way we practice architecture in response to the market, technology and our clients.
There have been some real highs along the way – winning the AJ Practice of the Year, appearing at the Venice Biennale twice and being shortlisted for the RIBA Stirling Prize have to be among them. Winning the Stirling Prize has always been one of our ambitions, so we still have much to do!

FJMT - FRANCIS-JONES MOREHEN THORP
fjmt is a multi-disciplinary design studio with a commitment to design excellence and the enhancement of the public domain. fjmt seeks excellence in every aspect of the work and professional service we deliver and, most of all, in the built work itself.
Integral to this pursuit of design excellence is the acknowledgement of the limitations within which we work, be they cost, time or budget, but also the understanding that these are not limitations to achieving excellence, as architecture, interior architecture and design are ultimately directed to immeasurable outcomes.
Most fundamentally to the creation of works that are as beautiful as they are inspiring and that can represent the aspirations and values of our community.
