With over 40 years of experience, Tony Amenta, President of Amenta Emma Architects, is the Principal in Charge of many of the firm's significant projects including the renovations to the State Office Building in Hartford, a new School of Engineering for Central Connecticut State University, and renovations to the Phoenix building in Hartford. Notable past projects include work at Blue Back Square, the Visual and Performing Arts Center at Western Connecticut State University, and the Connecticut Convention Center. Tony holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame, and is a licensed architect. He has lectured on the topics of New Urbanist Planning, Retail Design and Workplace Strategy. As President of Amenta Emma, Tony has orchestrated the expansion of the firm's practice with the establishment of regional offices in Boston, New York City and Stamford, Connecticut.
