As an international company with staff from all over the world, its design process is based on sharing different ideas, always with the ultimate aim of creating a unique style. The practice combines contemporary creative thinking with a bespoke local sensibility, striking a balance between strong designs and creating buildings that are sensitive to their surroundings, which creates a sense of belonging for the customers. Design International works across the whole spectrum of architecture with a particular focus on retail, mixed-use and hospitality developments. Its integrated and multi-disciplinary skills allows for a holistic approach to architecture that results in developments where the artistic, commercial and social aspects are in complete harmony.

EVA STUDIO
Emergent Vernacular Architecture (EVA Studio) is a socially-oriented research and design studio based in Hackney Wick. Since February 2015 EVA Studio’s team has been providing urban and architectural design from London, Haiti and Lebanon.
People and places are at the core of the practice’s ethos. Community-based research helps EVA’s team identify and understand the emergent processes, vernacular methods, as well as the historical roots of a given place, integrating them into effective design solutions.
EVA Studio’s work in Haiti and Lebanon focuses on public spaces and public architecture in informal neighbourhoods and in historical contexts, with the aim of providing people with a sense of ownership of a public good and creating stronger community ties.
In London, EVA Studio is using the same approach to develop a new model for low-cost modular housing.
In November 2017 EVA Studio was shortlisted for the Architectural Review Emerging Architecture Award. In March 2018 the studio has won the Dubai International Award for best practices and was selected as part of ADUP 2, the new London’s Mayor Architecture panel. EVA Studio is also part of the London School of Architecture practices network and the 100 Resilient Cities Subject Matter Advisor (SMA) framework.

MCCULLOUGH MULVIN ARCHITECTS
Based in Dublin, McCullough Mulvin is an architectural practice experienced in every kind of award-winning project at large and small scale. Its particularity is based on a wide reach - a will to make original and interesting architecture, singular works of their place and time. The practice is collaborative, experimental and open. Clients form part of the team - the end result reflects that dynamic exchange.
Our approach is founded on an investigation of the idea of place. Whether this is a city, a site, a history, or a story - using that germ like a landscape to make timeless contemporary structures which play with forms in nature.
The practice is unique in combining Grade 1 conservation skills with cutting edge contemporary design - making innovative projects that fully integrate old buildings and new architecture. This work is sustainable in nature and at the forefront of 21st Century debate about the re-use of old fabric.
McCullough Mulvin combines architectural practice with parallel studies in art, literature and film, explorations which reverberate in the background of project-making - a sensibility brought to bear in conversations about the design of new work.

TIGG+COLL ARCHITECTS
Tigg + Coll Architects were established in 2008 by the two Directors, David Tigg and Rachel Coll. We are a young, energetic and innovative RIBA Chartered Practice based in west London.
The directors bring two very different perspectives to the practice from their experience at previous design studios, engaging with the full range of architectural scales. Between them they have an extensive range of high quality, design-led experience on projects varying from the development of macro regeneration schemes to national arenas; education buildings through to high-end residential, restaurants and boutique hotel fit-outs. This combination of experience allows them to bring together a plethora of individual skill sets and knowledge that can be applied at different scales to compliment each other.
As an established practice, we pride ourselves on our unique ability to understand intricate design briefs and produce outstanding, award-winning Architecture in complex delivery environments. Our current workload spans high-end residential, mixed-use development and masterplanning, through to Co–Living, PRS and build-to-rent sectors. We have a growing expertise in the student residential sector and project which span across the UK and continental Europe.
