Joseph Coppola finds architecture inspirational and its practice an art. The integration of technological advances, sustainable approaches, structure, functionality, human scale, and details that capture the essence of materials are fundamental to design and to the creation of architecture, as is the human connection made inherently from this vision by an individual or society. The convergence of these elements in architecture is challenging and exciting. Joe’s interest as an architect is to capture and communicate these elements through good design, creating environments that are inviting and animated, yet effused with a quiet elegance.
Joe has been with the firm since 1977. Over the last thirty years he has held both design and management roles for renovation, adaptive reuse, and new construction projects.
