The shapes and colors are lively and contemporary. The spaces, large and airy. Each room differs from the next, with its own strong personality. This recently completed home on the Venetian Plains near Padua not only stands out for its elegance and design, but also for an approach to functionality that merges technology and aesthetics. Vimar contributed to this project, supplying its By-me Plus and Linea systems, both innovative products that enhance living comfort.
To give the home its distinctive character, the designers began with wall finishes featuring broad brushstrokes of patterns and brilliant colors. To balance these, they added more delicate motifs, mainly from nature, such as floral designs and exotic plants. This profusion of colors and shapes contrasts with the many areas in which an absence of decorations and simple blacks and whites predominate. In these spaces, linearity and simplicity add further depth to the home’s personality.
Vimar supplied the By-me Plus system for the integrated control of lights, shutters and blinds, climate, and energy loads from a single point – either via a touchscreen or the View app. Then, to provide security for the home with ease of management, the By-me Plus system was integrated with the Elvox video entry products, By-alarm Plus intrusion detection, and Elvox CCTV surveillance.
The last addition was Linea, a series of elegant control devices. With its clean, slender lines, Linea fits perfectly into residential settings. Combining a completely flat appearance with black and white tones, the axial controls are a discreet presence on the walls, becoming a furnishing element in a setting in which aesthetics and design are central.
“It was an interesting and challenging project,” commented installers Marco and Massimiliano Galesso. “From design to construction, it was all about creating maximum comfort. When we began work on this project, Linea had just been launched, and, right from the start, it seemed to be the perfect product for this home with its very particular aesthetic.”
