The first virtual event of 2024 organized by THE PLAN in collaboration with Diasen, a leading company in the production of bio-mortar, cork- and lime-based paints will cover important topics such as bio-architecture, the role of natural materials for the optimization of the building’s performances together with thermal comfort and air quality of indoor spaces.

Along with Diasen, the event will involve the Danish practice AI Arkitekter & Ingeniøre, the Barcelona-based studio Arquitectura Sana, the London-based studio Hopkins Architects, and Ecological Building Systems, a company whose philosophy focuses on the use of natural materials. The moderator will be the architect Dirk Jan Postel, Founder of the eponymous firm, long-time Partner of Kraaijvanger Architects and great expert in sustainable architecture.

The webinar will be held in English language on Thursday 14th March at 3:30 pm (CET) and will be streamed live on zoom. The webinar is under approval for the release of 2 LUs for AIA and RIBA.

The theme of the event, “The role of bio-materials: thermal comfort and indoor air quality”, reflects Diasen’s commitment in searching for green solutions and materials in ecological building construction and in the development of products that recover and update the great Mediterranean building and living tradition.
