With Pearls, a new collection of rectified fine porcelain tiles, Gruppo Cerdisa Ricchetti is not only offering a journey through the shades of nature and the art of René Magritte, but also a perfect blend of craftsmanship and innovation. Combining creativity, design, industrial quality, and innovation to transform nature and the colors of the planet into a range of tiles, Pearls has the ambitious aim of reproducing the shapes of the sky on a ceramic surface. The result is a skillful coming together of art and innovation in a product for creating elegant, timeless spaces.
A distinctive feature of Pearls is the way it transforms the irregularities of nature into aesthetic effects that are always different and, sometimes, unrepeatable. Details, textures, shades, and iridescences blend in unique ways to give the surfaces a perfect iridescence.
Besides its unique patterns, the new Pearls collection is available in a range of flexible formats that combine with many other GCR products. And there are several formats to choose from, ranging from 59.6x119.2 cm and 78.7x78.7 cm through to the large 119.2x119.2 cm, with highly modular designs and perfectly rectified edges. Completing the Pearls range are a 5x5 cm tile and a circular mosaic tile, both in all available colors.
As light reflects off the four different surfaces (Clear Sky, Cloudy Sky, Light Sky, Sunset Sky), the tiles come to life with different shades – from pure white, to pale pink and deep blue, depending on the setting. The effect takes the viewer on a journey from nature to art. With its silky matte surfaces, velvety effect, enveloping appearance, and curving lines, Pearls transports you to the ethereal worlds created by Belgian painter René Magritte.
