During Milan Design Week 2025, the city welcomed a wave of new openings and revamped spaces, further solidifying its role as a global capital of design. These new showrooms, conceived to meet the needs of industry professionals, are not just exhibition venues but true hubs of innovation and experimentation.
Blending architecture, technology, and materials, these spaces become dynamic platforms where designers and companies engage in dialogue, explore new solutions, and build relationships—redefining the concept of design-dedicated environments.
RAK Ceramics opens its first Italian Design Hub at Via Borgogna 8, strengthening its presence in the international design capital. Designed by MMA Projects and the result of over one million euros of investment, the 400 m² space is housed within a 1930s rationalist building and aims to become a new reference point for designers and contractors.
This opening—the fourth globally after Dubai, London, and Frankfurt—marks another step in the expansion strategy of the global ceramic leader, offering integrated lifestyle solutions ranging from surfaces and sanitary ware to bathroom furniture, faucets, and tableware.
Conceived as an immersive and dynamic venue, the Design Hub spans three levels and showcases captivating settings featuring the group’s brands, including RAK Ceramics, Kludi, Elie Saab, and RAK Porcelain. Key highlights include Maximus slabs on sliding tracks, a chandelier with 86 light points, and a kitchen system equipped with CookingRAK induction technology.
The mezzanine floor is dedicated to co-design with architects and designers, while the basement hosts a curated display of major collections, such as RAK-Valet, RAK-Batu, and RAK-Des. This new Design Hub aims to be a meeting ground for design, innovation, and personalization, supporting professionals throughout every phase of a project—from residential to hospitality.
CIMENTO® joins Fuorisalone 2025 with two distinct yet complementary projects. The first, at Palazzo Bovara, is Alchemica, an installation curated by Elle Decor Italia and Patricia Urquiola, which explores the metamorphosis of domestic spaces inspired by the three stages of alchemy. Here, CIMENTO® presents Boton, a new collection of tiles that transforms cement into a refined expression.
he second takes place at its newly renovated showroom on Via Borgogna 7, where the Cimento Objects – Riva collection, also by Urquiola, is unveiled. Inspired by the movement of water, this furniture line is defined by organic forms and irregular edges, featuring a color palette of violet, brown, warm orange, and butter yellow—suitable for both minimalist and decorative settings.
With these presentations, CIMENTO® reaffirms its vision of a design approach that fuses material, aesthetics, and innovation.
“There’s still so much to explore in the world of surfaces, even beyond ceramics—a material I’ve always loved. I’ve had the fortune to collaborate with CIMENTO®, experimenting with and using the material in ways that allow it to constantly evolve and transform—not just in language.”

Quadrifoglio Group has opened the QG Design Hub in Milan, a multifunctional space for architecture and interior design professionals. Located at Via Tito Speri 7, in the heart of the city, the new hub is intended as a venue for design research, experimentation, and the exchange of ideas. Featuring a distinctive arch structure that stands out in the urban landscape, the 500 m² space includes a 200 m² materials library, allowing exploration of finishes, colors, and textures.
Conceived as an open and collaborative environment, the project blends craftsmanship with advanced technology, offering targeted consultancy and high-value services. The network involves selected partners such as beWall, Codina Architectural, Emboss, Infinity, and Soloeco—creating an ecosystem that supports professionals at every phase, from material selection to execution.
The strength of QG Design Hub lies in the synergy between complementary skills, which merge to create original and practical design solutions. Besides being an operational space, the hub hosts events, workshops, and networking opportunities, fostering professional growth within an active community.
Located at Via Solferino 24, MetroQuality is a permanent showroom of 450 m² dedicated to design professionals, featuring the largest materials library in Milan: over 3,500 physical samples ranging from coatings to bathroom furnishings, selected to inspire and support the design process. More than 900 architectural firms collaborate regularly with the showroom, thanks to a personalized engagement model that avoids storefront-style displays and instead focuses on tailor-made appointments and direct dialogue.
Spread over two levels, the space offers technical consulting and direct support from partner company representatives, emphasizing customized solutions. The showroom's offering expands with the addition of new brands: INNOVA (HVAC systems), Caleido (design heating), and Catalano (historic Italian sanitary ceramics).
During Milan Design Week and Euroluce, Martinelli Luce opened its first Milanese showroom—an important milestone for the company known for the essential and geometric design of its lamps. Located in the historic city center, the 200 m² space spans two levels and was designed by company president Emiliana Martinelli in collaboration with Dainelli Studio.
The showroom is envisioned as more than just a product display—it is a meeting place for ideas and experimentation, remaining faithful to the vision of founder Elio Martinelli, now carried on by his daughter Emiliana. The interiors are designed as a “neutral canvas” that enhances the shapes and volumes of the lamps through a chromatic contrast between deep black and warm white.
The opening coincides with the launch of a new international advertising campaign by Tomo Tomo Studio, which uses saturated colors and iconic silhouettes to represent the dual soul of Martinelli Luce: design precision and creative freedom.
Energieker has inaugurated its first exhibition space in Milan, ENERGIEKER SPAZIO BRERA, located at Via Solferino 18, in the heart of the Brera district. The opening event was accompanied by “Equilibrismi”, an installation by Ido Corradini, which explores the interplay between ceramic surfaces and other materials. This space is dedicated to architects and designers, offering a unique opportunity to discover the potential of porcelain stoneware, with sustainable, Made in Italy solutions suitable for a wide range of applications.
“Equilibrismi” by Ido Corradini reflects on the search for balance in a time of constant change. The installation uses Energieker’s porcelain stoneware as a compositional element for both interior and exterior furnishings, with the aim of achieving a perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality. The five totems in the installation create a dialogue between porcelain stoneware and materials such as wood, metal, fabrics, and wallpaper, suggesting new design possibilities for limitless creativity.
