By Editorial Staff -

Saturday, September 14 at 11 am the Polo Museale del Lazio, directed by Edith Gabrielli, in collaboration with the architecture practice Jadric Architektur opens, at the Hendrik C. Andersen Museum directed by Maria Giuseppina Di Monte, the exhibition OPUS ASIAE. Architectural Projects for Asian Cities, curated by Mladen Jadric and Federica Rizzo. The exhibition offers insights into design solutions of some exemplary projects and examines some crucial questions, most of all, how to achieve a sustainable social community. In this moment, Asia is experiencing a relevant economic and social spread which has a wide impact on architecture reflecting these crucial changes. In this context, OPUS ASIAE by JADRIC ARCHITEKTUR presents a collection of architectural projects for Asian Cities realized in the last five years and developed by Mladen Jadric as an architect and teacher in Europe and Asia. Always in search of new ideas and inspiration, Mladen Jadric initiated many collaborative research and architectural projects with several universities in China, Korea, and Japan. Through his work, he has documented some pivotal changes in eastern societies. His architectural practice, JADRIC ARCHITEKTUR, has designed numerous prize-winning projects, ranging from social housing, private residences, art centres, to bridges and many more. Part of the exhibition belongs to academic work, including joint projects developed with students of the Faculty for Architecture and Planning at the TU Wien, for the new Asian reality and were exhibited at the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism in the last two years.
