A fusion of aesthetics, functionality, and artisan traditions with a sophisticated fluted design, Bertolotto’s Millerighe collection of timber doors are an example of modern-day elegance in step with the latest innovations. Designed as works of art and with a custom oak veneer frame, Millerighe doors create an unusual optical effect with fluting that extends over the entire door and casing, giving a sense of movement and depth to a whole room. Made of a high-quality, durable material, the Millerighe finish can also be used for wall paneling, armored doors, or, simply, interiors.
The honeycomb door leaves have an edge frame in solid Italian wood. The internal honeycomb structure is hot-pressed recycled kraft paper with a filling material and solid oak panels.
Its design is a contemporary reinterpretation of a traditional 20th century pre-hung door, with the oak panels enhanced by the fluted pattern to achieve a plastic, continuous effect.
There are also four oil finishes available: Natural, Olive, Leather, and Anthracite. These finishes extend the customization options, along with antibacterial treatments and a range of different models, including a certified acoustic version.
Millerighe is also available as elegant wall paneling. The fluting is created using a router pantograph, but the most iconic version features Alaska glass with different finishes. Tempered glass has the advantage of creating flow between rooms, greater brightness, and visual depth.
