"Indagine sul Manierismo|Investigation on Mannerism" is the title of the symposium taking place on the teams online platform of the University of Pisa, December 15-16. The conference is curated by Lina Malfona (UniPi) and Valerio Paolo Mosco (IUAV).

Are we living in another Mannerist era today?

The symposium will cover an analysis on Mannerism, the artistic and cultural movement developed between the Renaissance and the Baroque, and its resemblance with our time.

Maria Luisa Frisa, Sylvia Lavin, Alessandro Melis, Paolo Portoghesi, Claudio Strinati and Alejandro Zaera Polo, important art and architecture professionals, will participate as speakers.
