From the outset, the shared goal of Barrisol and Carrier, two companies specialized respectively in stretch ceilings and in healthy, safe and intelligent climate products and services, has been to create environments with high thermal comfort and good air quality. For this reason, they decided to combine their skills to create a new HVAC system. Capable of guaranteeing class A+ environments for air quality, constant air flow renewal, and disinfection thanks to integration of UV-C light, this solution can meet the needs of various types of buildings – from residences to hotels, from offices to sporting centers, to health care facilities. These characteristics, alongside the thermal comfort created by constant temperatures and from the absence of air currents, allow projects equipped with HVAC to be defined as highly efficient and sustainable, starting with energy performance. The membranes and profiles are additionally 100% recyclable and the manufacturing processes are eco-responsible, without sacrificing the esthetic aspect: the technical components are hidden by the ceiling, which in turn is completely customizable with lights, prints and textures.
The solution Barrisol Clim® featuring Carrier® products allows to obtain a constant and uniform temperature and to make energy savings of up to 15% in both heating and cooling modes. This system can also be equipped with UV-C lamps in the Pure Clim® version to further improve air quality.
Then there is the Cloud Clim® modular HVAC solution, which combines Barrisol Cloud Clim® and Carrier® for modular ceiling units that provide air conditioning, lighting and soundproofing. The solution automatically regulates the air diffusion flow based on the temperature of the air input. The fan coil unit can be integrated into the Cloud Clim® module or installed separately.
The HVAC ceiling, which is based on the presence of a membrane of biological origin that is stretched and fixed
in place, thus assumes the role of a high-quality air diffusor.
