Cersaie 2024 was a huge success, reaffirming its role as a premier event internationally for the architectural ceramics and bathroom furniture sectors. Between September 23 and 27, the event welcomed thousands of trade and public visitors from around the world to Bologna.
With all the numbers up on last year’s edition, over 600 exhibitors – many of whom were from outside Italy – presented the latest design, sustainability, and tech innovations in response to the needs of a constantly changing market.
With its new slogan “Keep Feeling,” Acquabella is inviting customers to rediscover the beauty and wellbeing to be found by making everyday routines sensorial experiences. The firm’s new identity, which was on show at Cersaie 2024, centers on the way it combines minimalist designs with materials that stimulate tactile and visual sensations.
New product highlights include the Noon Slate, Round, and Volda sculptural bathtubs; the Halo and Kos Slate customizable shower trays; new washbasins from the Echo collection; and a range of accessories – all of them designed to transform the bathroom into a multisensory refuge.
A historic Italian company specializing in faucets and fittings, Mamoli was at Cersaie in a booth designed by A4Adesign. Mainly built using recycled cardboard, the exhibition space placed a spotlight on sustainability and artisanal design while providing an ideal backdrop for the company’s iconic products.
Highlights were the Mendini, Epoca, 1938, Hexagonal, and Tuttodunpezzo ranges, as well as a revisited version of a faucet designed by Gio Ponti in the 1950s. Each range reflected Mamoli’s craft traditions and innovative design, while confirming the company’s ongoing commitment to both quality Italian manufacturing and sustainability.
IDILLA is a new range of washbasins, sanitary ware, ceramic ware, and mirrors. Designed by Manuel Di Giacobbe for Alice Ceramica, these products are a celebration of what happens when materials and form come together. The collection combines Italy’s ceramic traditions with innovation to create products that tell a story of transformation and rebirth. Distinguished by flowing lines and monolithic shapes, the range includes three vanity sinks (round, beveled square, and oval), a pedestal sink, wall-hung and floor-standing sanitary ware, and a novel ceramic cabinet.
The washbasins, with beveled edges and a floating effect, are available in a range of sizes, colors, and finishes, including models with aliglaze+ antibacterial enamel. With its cylindrical shape, the 85 cm pedestal sink stands out for its material-driven design. Incorporating aliflush+ technology to ensure effective and silent cleaning, this sanitary ware has a slender, light appearance.
Progetto Group showcased a new line of bathroom accessories designed by Simone Micheli that combine clean lines and elegant shapes to create a mood of wellbeing and style.
ONDA distinguishes itself for a contemporary design that recalls the elegance of yesteryear. It also uses high-quality materials, such as RAL 9016 Traffic White painted brass and solid surface containers, to produce durable and elegant accessories. Every detail combines functionality and aesthetics, making the collection ideal for the residential and contract markets, with a particular focus on the hotel sector.
Arbi Arredobagno used the backdrop of Cersaie to unveil Ercole, a free-standing washbasin that combines functionality and aesthetics. With its sculptural shape, cylindrical base in oak with the Bricks finish, and white Ocritech washbasin, Ercole will become the focal point of any bathroom. Available in seven colors, this washbasin combines elegance and practicality, making it a versatile addition to bathroom styles ranging from minimalist to luxury.
The firm also launched its Master collection, a furniture unit available in no fewer than 56 shades, including four metal and oak finishes. Another new product is the Over washbasin, a minimalist, space-saving system that’s ideal for small bathrooms. Crafted of white Ocritech, it’s available in 56 lacquered finishes and seven oak variants.
A highlight among Relax Design’s new products is the Zetae Studio-designed Rift. This bathroom system features a metal frame with a Luxolid® solid surface washbasin, available in various color combinations. The new Boid range, also designed by Zetae Studio, includes a vanity sink, a freestanding washbasin, and a freestanding bathtub, all made from Luxolid®. The inspiration for Boid’s design was classical Greek sculpture, with its surface characterized by vertical lines and a palette that varies from Bianco Lipari to Cioccolato.
Relax Design also unveiled the Futura hydromassage mini-pool and its Natura line, a range of saunas and Turkish baths developed in collaboration with Paolo Parea.

Schlüter-Systems unveiled new options for its BEKOTEC-THERM floor heating system, designed to optimize the use of resources. A standout is the Schlüter-BEKOTEC-EN-FI panel with integrated thermal and acoustic insulation, which reduces impact noise transmission by up to 28 dB and improves heating efficiency.
The new adhesive Schlüter-DITRA-PS membrane simplifies installation by eliminating the need for a separate layer of adhesive while offering easy repositioning. Schlüter-DILEX-F, an expansion joint that compensates for tile movement also attracted our attention.
Duka has updated its line of shower cabinets with multi-S 4000 new, designed to meet modern space and design needs. This new model stands out for its versatility, with clean lines and a wide range of standard and customized versions available.
Following the recent restyling, the product has a minimalist design and enhanced aesthetic purity. Invisible leak-proof seals enhance the transparency of the glass. The hinges are fixed using a UV gluing system, ensuring a smooth, easy-to-clean internal surface. A new adhesive mounting system simplifies installation by eliminating the need for drilling. The range also includes different glass variants and a towel rail option.
Developed by Marco Piva for Caleido, Infinito is a new product concept that makes it possible to combine heaters into unlimited design configurations. Three basic shapes – a line, a curve, a T – define the design of these essential, multiform elements that interact with surfaces.
Chrome, brushed gold, bronze, copper, satin silver, and titanium gray finishes add an ethereal dimension to the product’s relationship with light while underscoring its plasticity. The key features of the system are modularity and flexibility, with as good as infinite compositions possible.
Standouts among the new collections from Rubinetterie Treemme are Albatros, W-touch, W-smart, and a new version of Appia, with each designed to appeal to the firm’s international clientele.
Created by Gianluca Belli, Albatros draws its inspiration from the concepts of freedom and lightness. It features sculptural forms in brass, a 22 mm flat cartridge, and a choice of finishes. W-touch is a line of intuitive shower controls and thermostats with the flush-mounted “click clack” system. Mechanical and thermostatic versions are available. W-smart is the ideal choice for people looking for a versatile shower control. Equipped with the “click clack” system, the product has a rotation function for flow regulation and is also available in mechanical and thermostatic options. The new version of Appia, designed by Danilo Fedeli, includes single-hole and three-hole faucets in a range of brass finishes and extensive customization options.
For Cersaie 2024, Rubinetterie Treemme collaborated with Sicis on a range of handles made of Vetrite®, a material that combines glass and stone veining in products marked by their elegance and hi-tech features.
The new Vetrite® range had the starring role at the Sicis booth. This year, the firm came to Cersaie with its elegant mosaic surface finishes as well as this innovative new bathroom product. A composite glass made with a special formula of polymers and metals, Vetrite® combines evocative transparencies with a striking backlit effect. And it can be curved as needed to create unique and exclusive bathroom designs.
