Technology, beauty, and clean lines are key elements for designing interiors with innovative, contemporary looks. Protek, which specializes in the design and manufacture of pocket door and window frames, has incorporated all these elements into the latest additions to its Linear® catalog, a series of pocket door frames intended to eliminate the jamb and architrave. And each one features the durability and ease of assembly that have characterized the collection since it was introduced. Linear® FiloSoffitto, Linear® FiloBattuta, Linear® CoverColor, and Magic Box® Linear were all launched over the last few months.
The first two are a response to the demand for an increasingly elegant flush look, with the first integrating the track flush to the ceiling and the second, the face jamb flush to the wall. With its head fully integrated into the false ceiling, or at any height, Linear® FiloSoffitto makes it possible to have the track flush with the ceiling itself. This can also be combined with Linear® FiloBattuta. And both can be combined with existing Linear® frames and are supplied ready for the creation of an acoustic partition in the upper section of the cavity.
Another new product, Linear® CoverColor reflects the company’s work to create increasingly clean lines and formal elegance. It’s a kit comprising anodized aluminum profiles with different finishes that allows you to create a minimal door frame and finish the passage threshold, while protecting the edges of the walls and finishing the top of the skirting board or ceramic on which it rests. A range of finishes is available to suit different furnishing styles.
Intended to overcome the difficulties involved in installing pocket doors near electrical sockets and pipes, Linear® is a new option of the Magic Box® series of frames, designed and patented for these situations by Protek®. Linear frames are now available in the Magic Box Linear Elektro version without jambs or architraves, for use near wiring; the Magic Box Linear Hydra version, for use near plumbing; and the Magic Box Linear Domotika version, which accommodates both situations.
The result is a wide selection of possibilities designed to cater to the needs of designers and professionals.
