Glashütte Limburg has participated in the project
Taking into consideration all sectors of both public and private architecture, the team of designers, engineers and technicians works to provide a long lasting, top-quality product where no detail is overlooked. Each device is both a unique architectural element and an extremely practical, functional object. As such, during development and production, pragmatism, efficiency and elegance always come first and go hand in hand with attaining the highest standards of quality. The company’s defining trait is to make lighting devices in various scales, with a wide range of finishes and technical equipment, so that all a client’s needs - light intensity, materials, available space - are catered for. Advances in lighting technology drove Glashütte Limburg to use LED technology both to develop and create new devices and to improve existing series. The latest models include a new range of compact LED luminaries providing both direct and indirect light, ensuring excellent visual comfort. The ground is illuminated directly by the main beam, while indirect soft light strikes the surrounding environment through the opaque glass. Available in four sizes (100, 120, 140, 190 mm), they are ideal for use in home automation systems. Each model in the series can come with either hand-blown opal or clear crystal glass and is available in three versions: white enamelled metal, stainless steel and gloss aluminium. With all LED devices by Glashütte Limburg clients can choose from colour temperatures of 3,000K or 4,000K. All the company’s LED modules are designed for service lives of at least 50,000 hours.
