EGGER has managed to combine a natural wood-based floor with the properties of a plastic-based design floor.
EGGER Design+ Flooring is perfect in areas where floors are required to stand up to stress whilst remaining visually attractive. The top layer consisting of TPU, or thermoplastic polyurethane is odourless, low-emission and poses no queries in regard to health. The core of EGGER’s new design floor consists of a double sealed, high-density, wood-based coreboard: the Ultra Wood Fibre Board (UWF) ensures high shape stability, even temperature fluctuations leave the floor unaffected. With a material thickness of just 5 mm, authentic decors and surfaces, excellent maintenance characteristics, and high resistance - this flooring is particularly well-suited for public and commercial use. Design+ Flooring is the perfect flooring solution for wet rooms, shops, offices and work rooms, hotels, bars, and restaurants, as well as galleries, doctor’s practices and pharmacies. Depending on the application area, EGGER Design+ Flooring may be installed floatingly or glued full-surface. The innovative floor is based on wood, and 100% free of PVC and plasticisers. It is environmentally friendly, and also aesthetically pleasing: Decades of EGGER trend experience result in 20 contemporary wood and stone looks.
A floor with memory
A unique memory function ensures EGGER Design+ Flooring stands out in comparison to other design floors. The SelfRepair effect turns the new EGGER flooring product into something special: If there are surface deformations - for example the marks of furniture feet - , the molecules pushed in the given place “remember” their initial position and return to it fairly soon. The floor looks new again. For the commercial/public sector, customers no longer need to make a choice between an extremely resistant floor, a modern aesthetic, or an environmentally-friendly flooring design.
