Designed by architect practice Uainot, Shape is Corradi’s new modular system. Prefabricated and assembled on site, Shape has been designed with the commercial and professional market in mind. The five, 6x5 m, basic modules - Hospitality, Business, Lab, Utility, and Dehors - can be mixed and matched to cater for all spatial and functional requirements, including multiple level layouts. The system’s steel frame rests on adjustable supports, ensuring the solidity and aesthetic of a permanent masonry construction but with all the advantages of swift assembly, removal or changes of modular components. The infills provide excellent thermal insulation and soundproofing. Panels can be clad in either recyclable, reconstituted Twinson wooden slats (in taupe, black, grey or beige) made of untreated wood and PVC, ceramic (Marazzi’s Pietra Serena coloured Evolution tiles), frosted or clear tempered glass, or painted perforated metal sheet (in green or white/yellow COR10 colours). Weather-proof, low-maintenance, anti-seismic compliant materials have been used throughout. Shape comes with all necessary plant and equipment, flooring, false ceilings and lighting. When installed outdoors, the basic Shape modules can accommodate components of all other Corradi collections, such as awnings, the Impact® motorized roof system, the Ermetika® vertical closure system, and sliding glass doors.
