uSafe building modules with high health safety levels | THE PLAN
By -

Conceived by Archilinea and Binini Partners, and produced by Sistem Costruzioni, uSafe is a customizable modular building system designed to meet the most stringent health and safety regulations in all post-Covid-19 work environments.

Until a few months ago, workplace safety was all about preventive measures regarding the health and the protection of employees. The current Covid-19 emergency, however, has brought about a need to focus on those health safety devices and procedures that, until yesterday, were regarded as excessive or only needed in specialized situations. Our heightened sensitivity to the possibility of a new emergency has fueled the need for structures that can ensure maximum health safety levels for anyone who enters a business or workplace.

According to Tiziano Binini, president and founder of Binini Partners:

"uSafe Lab is an innovative design solution, designed for the country’s economic and social recovery. The product reflects all the principles and values of Binini Partners, a leading company in the world of healthcare and integrated design. We believe that it’s a vital tool for combatting the spread of Covid-19, both now and in the future, and for supporting the full recovery of economic and social activities in safety. These prefabricated modular structures are eco-sustainable and easily transportable. Their operation and appearance can be customized to suit the company and industry that uses them".

THE MODULES: HEALTH & SAFETY

The prefabricated modules have been designed to allow maximum construction flexibility, adapting to any situation in terms of space and people’s pathways. The fact that the units are prefabricated significantly reduces construction times and means that it’s possible to have a finished, fully operational building within 60 days from placing your order. Focusing on internal pathways, layouts, and the quality and type of materials used means that uSafe modules can guarantee high safety standards, intercepting and isolating potential sources of infection without interrupting production chains.

These modular, prefabricated structures are specifically designed for medical emergency applications. But their versatility and customizability mean that they can respond to the needs of numerous sectors, including tourism, manufacturing, retail, finance, education, and sport. It’s possible to change shapes, colors, and other aspects, and therefore design structures that reflect your branding.

The system is available in Small, Medium, and XLarge versions, with a Drive Through option for performing tests both safely and quickly without people leaving their car. All the structures are equipped with preventive sanitary technologies, including no-touch temperature reading, automatic photocell systems for opening doors and taps, and UV-C sanitization technology.
