The Plan Award 2024 - Announcement

THE PLAN AWARD was created and is promoted by THE PLAN to disseminate knowledge of and improve the quality of the work done by designers, academics and students in the architecture, design and city planning fields, thereby promoting debate on topical design and planning themes. Completed and future projects are eligible.
Individuals or groups of students and/or professionals - in the fields of architecture, city planning, design and engineering - may enter the award and each individual or group may compete in each contest with one or more projects.
Completed projects (i.e. built works) must have been finished after 1 January 2021.

Projects that have already won in previous editions are not eligible in the same category.
THE PLAN Award 2024 features 20 different categories called “contests” valid both for completed and future projects (hereafter identified as “Completed” and “Future” respectively).

“Completed” means: completed interventions (construction phase completed after 1 January 2021)

“Future” means: not yet realized projects, future projects, unbuilt and work-in-progress projects (completion esteemed after the Award’s end date)

There will be a winner for each contest (both Completed and Future). Honorable Mentions can be assigned at the Jury’s discretion.

The Wish List Special Prize will be awarded to the project that has received most votes by THE PLAN community, via web site’s and social media platforms’ votes.
