JOEL SANDERS ARCHITECT

Joel Sanders is the Principal of JSA and Professor at Yale School of Architecture where he is Director of the M.Arch II Program. Editor of STUD: Architectures of Masculinity (1996) and Groundwork: Between Landscape and Architecture (2011), Sanders’ writings and practice explore the complex impact that evolving cultural forces have on the designed environment. JSA has received numerous awards, including six NY Chapter AIA Design Awards, three NY State AIA Design Awards, three Interior Design Best of Year Awards, two ALA/IIDA Library Interior Design Awards, and Design Citations from Progressive Architecture.
