MARC TSURUMAKI

Marc Tsurumaki is a Principal and Founding Partner of Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis and oversees (along with his partners) the design of a broad range of cultural, educational and civic projects that have received both national and international recognition. Marc Tsurumaki received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from Princeton University. In addition to his guiding role at LTL, Marc Tsurumaki is also actively engaged in architectural education and is currently an Adjunct Professor of Architecture at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, and is a faculty member at Cornell University. He has taught at a number of institutions including M.I.T., Parsons School of Design, Barnard and Columbia Colleges, Syracuse University, Kent State University and Yale University as the 2006 Louis I. Kahn Visiting Professor. He has served as a Trustee of the Van Alen Insitute, a panelist for the New York State Council of the Arts for Architecture and Design and is a General Services Administration National Peer.
