A design intended for the enjoyment of nature’s beauty from every angle: this is how the sea, the sky, the sun, the stars, and the moon, with their constant presence not just outside but also inside, transform the yacht in a true terrace on the sea. A96, designed from a concept of holistic well-being as a founding and fundamental value, is Arcadia Yachts’ new crossover, which has already been defined by the shipyard itself as the forefather of a new generation of yachts capable of combining the benefits of sailing and contact with nature with the luxury services typical of a resort. In addition to A96’s power and extreme ease of maneuvering, its large spaces give the yacht its identity, made even more airy by the presence of numerous openings, windows, and portholes, which sometimes feature irregular shapes. The spaces can be integrated and converted: the interior lounges can be joined with the external terraces overlooking the sea, with the sun decks, and with the stern swim platform at the water’s edge, which in turn can be expanded thanks to two side platforms. Both the main and upper deck, with their respective equipped outdoor areas at the stern, are an invitation to connect with the tunes and rhythms of nature.
Versatility and flexibility are provided by sliding walls and partitions that allow the transformation of the main and upper deck lounges into spaces that flow slowly and seamlessly into the outdoor areas. This structure makes A96 especially bright, exemplified by the exquisite owner’s suite, located at the bow of the main deck and featuring splendid views of the sky and the sea.
This marine environment gives character to and defines the interior design of the project, curated by Igor Lobanov, who drew deep inspiration from Art Deco and the beauty of nature.
The result is a crossover between elegant and essential style, played on delicate tones and a few but decisive contrasts of chiaroscuro, particularly dictated by the presence of metallic or wooden elements and details. The materials are natural and mostly eco-friendly, with matte or glossy finishes, while the design features soft and slender lines, that are also present in the details of the stairs. Curved and organic forms are the fil rouge of the vessel, uniting the shape of the environments and furnishings, some of which are freestanding – the seats, couches, and tables – to allow for the reconfiguration of the interior and exterior spaces. Nature, including that not of marine environments, enters the yacht’s interior through the patterns of the surfaces and the fabrics chosen by the designer: many carpets recall the sandy dunes of beaches and the ripples of the sea, while in the guest cabins – four in total, located on the lower deck – there are surfaces and panels reminiscent of rock formations and minerals. All the spaces, whether indoor or outdoor, give passengers a sense of harmony and tranquility, to be appreciated with all five senses.
A96, in addition to its wide range, low emissions, and acoustic comfort, has another distinctive optional feature: the silent mode system that guarantees up to nine hours onboard in silent mode, powered by solar panels. This way, the sounds of nature and the sea can dominate once again.
