As a founding partner of Lewis and Gould Architects, Michele is passionate about adaptive reuse and renovation. Whether designing for affordable housing, educational facilities, or residential interiors, Michele is guided by her mission to strengthen communities through sustainable strategies and practices. With 25 years of experience, she finds joy in creative problem-solving for a range of projects, including large-scale planning and local initiatives for communities and schools. Michele understands the unique importance of every space. She finds the “heart” of each project, bringing her knowledge of contemporary design and her own artistic sensibilities to her work as an architect. She continues to create spaces that are compact and comfortable as much as they are dynamic and original. Michele holds a MArch from Yale and a Bachelors in Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design.
