Jonathan Disbrow is responsible for leading a variety of project types ranging from the firm's large sports renovations to mid-sized building projects. Jon is both an award winning designer and an accomplished technical architect. He has been responsible for the design and execution of several significant building projects in the US and in the Middle East.
Over the past twenty plus years, Jon has specialized in hospitality, residential, mixed-use and civic projects. As a designer, he has worked toward developing a comprehensive knowledge about construction by studying various construction types and methodologies. Jon is an active member of the AIA, Detroit. As a newly elected member of the Board of Directors he will serve through 2016 while keeping his seat on the Urban Priorities Committee. He has been the Chairman of the City of Huntington Woods Historic District Commission for the past ten years. He also enjoys working with students and has volunteered his time as a guest lecturer at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and as an Adjunct Professor - College of Architecture at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI.
Jon received his Master of Architecture at Cranbrook Academy of Art and his Bachelor of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. He also attended the Robert Gordon University, Scott Sutherland School of Architecture in Aberdeen, Scotland.
