Born in Turn in 1963, Benedetto Camerana is an architect and landscape architect. He holds a PhD in the history of architecture and urban planning. After completing his studies, he conducted research into the integration of architecture and landscape as part of a green approach to architecture. He discussed his findings in Il Giornale dell’Architettura, La Stampa, l’Arca, Ottagono, Il Giornale dell’Arte, Eden. L’Architettura nel Paesaggio (where he was editor from 1993 to 1997) and Architettura del Paesaggio (where he was editor from 2001 to 2005), as well as at numerous workshops and conferences. Benedetto was also invited to present his research at the XXIII UIA World Congress of Architecture in 2008. In 1996 he joined the Board of Directors of Palazzo Venezia Grassia and since 1999 Benedetto has been a member of the Committee of the Istituto Europeo di Design (Turin and Milan), where has co-ordinated the master’s degree in Exhibit Design since 2000.
