He was born in Soini, Finland, 1973. He graduated from the Department of Architecture, Oulu University, Finland 2002 with a M.Sc (architect). He was assistant in modern architecture at the Department of Architecture, Oulu university 1999-2004. He founded Lassila Hirvilammi architects Ltd 2001. He was nominated and selected to exhibition Mies van der Rohe prize 2005 (K.rs.m.ki church) and 2011 (Kuokkala church). He got Pietilä prize 2010 with Teemu Hirvilammi, Wood prize 2010 to Kuokkala church, special mention and Reddot award 2011 (Kuokkala church). He has lectured at several universities and seminar in Europe, US and China.
His major works is K.rs.m.ki church 2005, Kuokkala church 2010 and Sauna tonttu 2011, Kompassi housing 2013, Konsthall Tornedalen artmuseum Sweden 2015.
