The Ultracoat parquet protection system comprises a new range of paints, oils, grouts and accessories which are ideal for all wood surfaces. Ultracoat ensures ease of maintenance and application, as well as lasting protection, even for parquets subject to heavy duty. The whole system is made up of Acqua Plus grout, Ultracoat Universal Base and Ultracoat P920 2K base-coats, Ultracoat P915 and Ultracoat P925 paints, as well as Ultracoat Oil and Ultracoat Oil Care finishes. Depending on the job in hand, a number of combinations are possible, all easy to prepare and use for a specific result. For routine operations in commercial and residential premises the “oil-based parquet system” involves a coat of Ultracoat Acqua Plus, Ultracoat Oil and Ultracoat Oil Care. For restoration work or an upgrade operation, or whenever the surface needs protecting quickly, the “ultra turbo system” using Ultracoat Acqua Plus, Ultracoat Universal Base and Ultracoat P925, means the job can be finished in a mere four hours. The “ecoturbo system” is recommended for medium wear: this includes Ultracoat Acqua Plus, Ultracoat Universal Base and two coats of Ultracoat P915, the time of application being six hours. To protect floors from heavy wear and tear, as in commercial buildings, one resorts to the “super protection system” involving Ultracoat Acqua Plus, Ultracoat P920 2K and two coats of Ultracoat P925. Each of these systems should be finished off with a coat of Silwood.
