Set up in 1984 as a manufacturer of sanitary water and heating equipment, CEA Design has always been at the cutting edge of R&D, delivering avant-garde solutions employing latest generation Made-in-Italy materials, styles and technology. All faucet and accessory collections are in recyclable, non toxic, long lasting stainless AISI3I6L steel. Not chrome or zinc coated, products are also resistant to saline and sulphur-laden environments. CEA Design products combine sleek, minimalist lines with functional excellence. In addition to developing water-saving devices, CEA is also engaged in alternative energy projects.
The large (2.70 metre diameter) ceiling fan Two, designed by Giulio Gianturco, delivers on a threefold target of achieving high performance, low consumption and flexibility of use. The six carbon blades are driven by a 12/24 high-performance, low-consumption electronically-controlled motor. Cables come in 3 standard lengths to meet different ceiling height requirements.
The wide Neutra faucet range in AISI 316L stainless steel includes a water-saving showerhead delivering 4 litre/minute thanks to CEA’s patented water nebulizer system. Neutra taps are wall mounted using the CEA Design patented universal Pipe Water Fitting (PWF) that does away with in-wall elements.
The outdoor shower Camilla has a stainless steel base and painted aluminium telescopic tube. The showerhead is in white Delrin while the silicon rubber hose comes in white, aqua green, cobalt blue and anthracite grey. The Camilla comes in three versions: the Free Standing with steel stand; The Garden whose pointed tip pole is planted in the ground; and The Wall with steel wall brackets.
Bold, the generously proportioned (diameter 100 mm) showerhead, came out in 2010. Its component materials - stainless steel and white Delrin - combine to make an aesthetically pleasing bathroom feature that can be assorted with all CEA Design faucets. The adjustable white Delrin disk jet delivers a rain shower flow.
Blending elegance, practicality and innovation, the patented WC flush plate, Hydroplate, comes complete with a water-jet toilet cleaner placed discretely behind a snap-shut hatch. As its water supply comes directly from the WC cistern, installation requires no addition plumbing or masonry work. It is available as a single article or together with a toilet roll holder, in which case a water connection is required.
