Inspired by a deep-sea creature called Pyrosome, these ceiling luminaires and down luminaire fixtures freely transform their shapes and emit their own light.

"I want to create lighting that is optimistic, that is sun-capturing,” Ross Lovegrove said of the design. “The materials you make the object from are like light itself.”

The fixtures, which resemble “biological marine architecture”, eliminate both UV and blue light risk.
