Purity in Ecological and Universal Design

In 2021, Quadrodesign is celebrating its first 20 years of business. The firm specializes in creating faucets and fittings for bathrooms, kitchens and filtration systems mainly using AISI 316L stainless steel. Every item is designed according to a project philosophy in which formal simplicity and perfection are blended with ergonomics, practicality and sustainability. This mirrors the pure, ecological, durable and recyclable nature of stainless steel. 
At the heart of every Quadrodesign collection is a modular approach in which deck and wall mounted options can be combined with a wide range of spouts, levers and handles. Plus, the universal mounting solution means the handles can easily be changed at any time, without having to get a specialist in. Quadrodesign products always have an essential, timeless and archetypal design created by renowned international designers, including Hans Thyge Raunkjaer, Luca Papini and Studio Adolini. 
In October 2020, the company opened its first flagship store in Milan, at Mo.1950. This also marks a key step forward in the company’s communication strategy, as the flagship store offers a dual avenue for communicating the company’s core values of beauty and quality. The first floor has large display windows showing potential uses of Quadrodesign products in a home. The basement floor shifts away from the retail customers to trade professionals, replacing the display areas with large work benches and a product library of faucets and fittings. Once again, the spaces used by Quadrodesign focus on essential beauty that foregrounds the inherently beneficial characteristics of stainless steel in a synthesis that conveys the essence of the brand.
