Camozzi 70 is a residential complex in the old heart of lower Bergamo, with 6,500 sq. m of office and commercial space attached. Designed by the Progetto CMR firm and currently under construction by Impresa Percassi, the project is to renovate two six-story buildings on the corner of Via Gabriele Camozzi and Via Clara Maffei. The apartments offer a variety of living solutions that cater to different needs, featuring private loggias and terraces, and built-in home automation systems. The complex has a fitness area with gym reserved for residents, and a large multipurpose space on the ground floor to host condominium meetings or private parties. The complex’s plant engineering technologies and innovative materials are Class A energy certification standard.
Finstral was involved in the project from the very start. The company supplied the right solutions to meet the project’s high thermal and acoustic performance requirements, guaranteeing an essential appearance by reducing visible profiles to a minimum and maximizing glazed areas for optimal natural light flow into the interiors.
FIN-Project Nova-line Plus windows and FIN-Slide Slim-line Cristal lift and slide French doors were selected for the Camozzi 70 project.
Because the existing building was divided into several distinct units, the project required an ad hoc approach, deploying a variety of solutions and esthetic and technological customization. As per the municipal council’s requirements, an aluminum finish in anthracite gray was chosen for the exterior of the windows and doors; white was chosen for the interior, which may be customized either in a shade of the client’s choice or solid wood. The lifting and sliding windows come with a fully-glazed interior finish. Finstral was in sole charge of the entire window perforation, supplying the counterframes, insulated rolling-shutter boxes, Raffstore sunshades with motorized aluminum slats, and motorized roller shutters.
