The DQG HST 85 PVC lift and slide system from Diquigiovanni (DQG), a company that has been designing, manufacturing and installing doors and windows since 1967, seamlessly combines efficiency and esthetics. Its robust burglar resistance, superior thermal and acoustic insulation and minimal threshold create a harmonious transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The threshold is available with a reduced sill thickness of 25 mm or an optional 54 mm version that can be recessed to be flush with the floor level. This versatile system can accommodate openings up to 5 m, but almost dematerializes within the architectural design so as to maximize natural light and fluidity between spaces. The window handle, engineered to effortlessly manage loads exceeding 400 kg, is designed for ease of use. With a simple turn, the sashes glide smoothly to the end cap. Available with up to four symmetrically arranged sashes, the Panoramic version features a nearly concealed fixed sash, further enhancing the seamless connection with the surrounding view. The slide design is both sleek and modern, with customizable coloring options to suit project needs, including a two-tone finish if desired. For a more personalized appearance, the material can be a combination of PVC and aluminum. This choice is often favored when architectural constraints require specific colors, as the metal exterior can be painted in any RAL shade. Technically, the system benefits from a silicone “Super Spacer”, standard across all DQG doors and windows. This feature ensures long-term energy efficiency while minimizing condensation and mold formation.
