Stopray Ultravision 50 AGC’s first ever glass with a triple silver coating that must be used in double glazing. With light transmission at 49%, very low solar factor 23%, high thermal insulation (1.0 W/m2.K) and selectivity (the light transmission/solar factor ratio) above 2, it meets the toughest building standards in the services sector, affords excellent indoor comfort, and cuts running costs for lighting and summer air conditioning. Stopray Ultravision 50 is always produced on AGC’s extra-clear Planibel Clearvision, the transparency of which is a prime aesthetic factor. Various versions are available, delivering multiple properties: Stratobel Stopray Ultravision 50, the laminated safety version; and Stratophone Stopray Ultravision 50, the acoustic laminated safety version. In line with AGC Glass Europe’s social responsibility strategy, Stopray Ultravision 50 is manufactured with maximum use of renewable energy and maximum reduction of environmental impact. It can also be recycled at the end of its lifetime. These properties, plus the use of materials respecting human safety and the environment, won Stopray Ultravision 50 the coveted “Cradle to Cradle” certificate.
