From façades to decorative wall claddings to furniture, doors and bathroom design, the applications for Fundermax products are almost endless. Such variety is built on the versatility of the firm’s technical solutions and the extensive customization options. Boasting over 130 years of history and four facilities across Austria and Norway, the Austrian-headquartered company continues its artistic and technological research with a focus on sustainability, favoring robust wood materials that meet both high quality and demanding green standards. The development of Individual Print technology, which uses a unique digital printing process that differs from traditional methods such as offset or gravure, has further expanded the horizons for designing and creating custom decors.

Products developed using this technology are suitable for use in challenging environments such as outdoor areas exposed to the elements – including balconies, terraces and architectural façades. The Boardinghouse Hotel in Bremen, Germany, is an excellent example. They are also ideal for indoor areas that are particularly humid or subject to fluctuating temperatures, such as bathrooms, rest rooms, indoor swimming pools and kitchens. With designs ranging from the simple and elegant Popcorn range to more colorful and whimsical options, Individual Print is available for both classic high-pressure laminates (HPL) and Max Compact Interior and Exterior panels, offering a wide range of applications to suit every need. Each texture can be customized to meet a customer’s specific requirements, allowing exclusive HPLs to be created in just a few simple steps with the help of the company’s consultants. Once the most suitable product has been identified, the process involves four key steps: identifying the design, reviewing and refining it, sending a sample to the customer for approval and then moving to production.
