Fossil by Refin

The pattern gives the collection a special uniqueness, with a great, natural impact. Subtle motifs bring to mind the regularity of forms found in the natural world, which we can all interpret differently according to our own imagination. Running in different directions, the 5 hand-drawn graphics create curious optical illusions and solid-void effects: the interwoven effects of the forms resemble natural stone, creating a modern interpretation of marble, that symbol of tradition, sophistication and exclusive materials. The winning collection comes in size 60x60cm and three colours - beige, grey and brown - with 5 different graphic patterns for random laying. The Fossil project was the winner of the International Design Contest “Create your Tile” sponsored by DesignTaleStudio.
