Precise, attentive design, refined finishes, top-quality manufacture and pleasing, intriguing combinations of different materials are the distinguishing features that define Esedra, the collection resulting from collaboration between Ethimo and Luca Nichetto. Esedra is pure creativity of substance. Its very name evokes a perfect equilibrium of elegant, embracing shapes and materials capable of transmitting extraordinary tactile and visual perceptions. The union of aluminium and teak with synthetic fibre made using a special technology that recreates artisan sensations and has the warmth typical of natural woven fibre leads to refined, welcoming solutions that suggest relaxation and wellbeing.
The collection includes Esedra Chair, Lounge Chair and Sofa, elements perfect for the recreation of true semi-circular cosy “niches”, their structures coloured in Warmwhite, Dark Grey and Warmred. The soft cushions fabrics that complete these lounge furnishings come in Nature White, Black Stone and Red Earth.
Different shapes and sizes of tables and coffee tables are available with tops in a variety of materials such as pickled teak or highly resistant Laminam porcelain ceramic tile in Slate Grey or Dove Grey. Esedra is an ambitious project, born out of a desire to experiment. It is the expression of quality made in Italy, of a real passion for outdoor design that meets the most sophisticated, refined furnishing needs in contemporary interiors and the hotel sector.
With Esedra, Ethimo creates a unique experience, all about a way of living in the open air with a design concept that interprets the outdoors as a new dimension for the home, where wellbeing, warmth and comfort are given the same importance as they are indoors.
