Designer sofas – Why custom made?

By simultaneously reinterpreting the concept of comfort and keeping a close eye on furniture fashions, Dàmeda salotti blends materials and colors to create a range of modern, stylish furnishing elements. A hallmark of the furniture maker is its custom-made designer sofas, created to fully respect the spaces where they’re to be used, without ever compromising on comfort or beauty.

Distinguished by soft, elegant lines, every new model in Dàmeda’s 2020–21 collection can be customized. And the range includes a selection of designer sofa beds. All of these sofas are created according to the strict rules of traditional Brianza craftsmanship, with special attention given to every detail – enveloping shapes, carefully balanced combinations of colors and materials, cushioning that embraces and supports the body, and a large range of accessories and hardware that add X factor to each sofa, transforming it into the star attraction of any home.

Up to the job of furnishing the living room all by itself, the Infinity sofa creates a multifunctional space. With its modern design, it combines padded surfaces with handy tabletops, retractable tables, storage compartments, integrated lights to create special reading spaces, and USB sockets to keep your electronic devices charged. The chaise longue also has a special relaxation setting for watching TV. Dàmeda supplies matching cushions with fashion patterns for each piece – an essential accessory for adding that extra touch of style. All upholstery is in soft, stain-resistant fabric, available in a range of colors and materials. The Infinity sofa is available as a corner version (shown above) as well as two-seater and three-seater designs.

The Portofino sofa, on the other hand, is modern and essential. Made up of separate modules, the sofa can be reinvented to suit any space. It’s available as a compact two-seater as well as in large corner designs that incorporate a chaise longue and pouf. The Portofino has soft cushioning and comes with extra cushions to take care of your back. It can be made to measure as well as customized with an extensive range of colors, including both fabrics and fine Italian leather, and a range of hi-tech accessories.

If you want to experience the quality of these handcrafted sofas for yourself, Dàmeda operates a showroom in Lentate sul Seveso, Lombardy, where the concept of custom-made furniture is brought to life by these unique products.
