Comfort, Versatility and Panache for a Regeneration Project

Quadrifoglio Group has participated in the project

In the heart of Macerata, an urban regeneration project has turned two historic but now abandoned city buildings – the former Rossini factory and the caretaker’s house at the Diaz Gardens – into a hub for art, education and social inclusion.

Quadrifoglio Group’s expertise was enlisted to determine the optimal selection of furnishings to meet the diverse needs of the revitalized spaces, which range from educational activities to exhibitions.

In the Rossini complex, integrating vibrant colors and employing modular, adaptable furnishings produced a vibrant and invigorating environment conducive to learning, creative endeavors and social interaction. The expansive central hall now houses a harmonious ensemble of Idea+ 01 desks, Creo and X1 tables, Close chairs, C-Stool stools and Accord armchairs, offering versatile and ergonomic solutions that create a very welcoming space conceived for co-working. Conversely, the sections of the building to be used for relaxing and informal interaction are adorned with delightful arrangements of Astro Twist sofas.

Their curves and vibrant hues of cyclamen and sunshine yellow encourage lively conversation. Meanwhile, the office area features a variety of furnishings, including X1 desks in the bench versions, Okay chairs, Club waiting-room chairs and practical storage solutions. Finally, in the section of the building where soaring ceilings reveal the original trusses, a versatile multi-purpose area has been created. By default, it is a conference room, but it can easily be transformed into an exhibition hall or training venue as needed. The use of Pop-Up folding tables, Clue chairs and Astro poufs ensures adaptability, allowing quick reconfiguration to suit different needs and activities.

Quadrifoglio Group’s furnishings were also integrated into the renovation of the former caretaker’s house, which has been repurposed to host educational programs, exhibitions and workshops. At the entrance, people are greeted by the custom-made Z2 reception desk, complemented by Dinamica chairs. Upstairs, the space is adorned with X1 desks, Pop-Up tables and a modular storage system, showcasing the beauty of this environment.

These projects show how the preservation of industrial heritage can be combined with contemporary demands for multi-purpose, shared spaces without erasing the historicity of the site, but rather enhancing its existing architecture and structures, merging past and present.
