Aurena Series

Inspired by the language of the golden ratio, Antonio Citterio has designed an architectural bathroom series for Duravit that embodies timeless elegance and the seamless fusion of esthetic appeal with everyday functionality. Characterized by meticulously balanced proportions and harmonious color palettes, the Aurena series embodies essential silhouettes and luxurious materials in an effort to redefine the notion of esthetic harmony. The collection was conceived starting from the washbasin area, featuring a ceramic vanity unit with subtle contours, ample counter space and a series of shelves thoughtfully equipped with practical built-in dividers. Offering versatile installation options either suspended or on a metal frame with sleek legs, the undersink is seamlessly integrated into the vanity unit via a brushed aluminum profile frame. Notably, this frame extends to provide a convenient towel rail.

In pursuit of holistic design coherence across the bathroom space, Citterio also designed a bathtub, toilet, bidet and mirror with a concealed lighting profile. These options, with their soft and sinuous lines, harmoniously complement the rest of the collection and are perfectly aligned with the esthetics of the Wave faucet series, which has a surface finish that creates a striking visual link to the metallic accents of the Aurena furniture. The latter is also available in different colors, chosen to maximize customization possibilities: the white, taupe or graphite gray of the units can be combined with fronts in the same color, matt or glossy, or with innovative solutions such as textured wood, black lacquered glass or marble-effect ceramics. Duravit’s innovative treatment of ceramic surfaces – called HygieneGlaze® Plus – makes this series the ideal choice not only for achieving flawless, classic style, but also for facilitating hygiene and cleanliness in the bathroom.
