About ECCA
ECCA, the European Coil Coating Association, is the voice of the coil coating industry in Europe with around 100 member companies active in this market i.e. steel/aluminium coil coaters and their suppliers. Its main mission is to promote the use of prepainted metal as the most sustainable, cost effective and high-quality method of finishing.
Prepainted metal or Coil Coating (www.prepaintedmetal.eu) is an industrial continuous process consisting of applying a liquid paint on a metal strip (Aluminium or steel) to form a uniform protective & decorative layer. This semi-finished product is then used by converters to form roofing or cladding materials, domestic appliances cabinets, construction composite materials and accessories, etc.
