The residence is 4,000 square meter residence is built cantilevered over the water, offering an unparalleled view thanks to its direct seafront location. The concept aims to maximize the openness of the internal spaces, creating a horizontal and vertical continuum emphasized by the main partitions. The internal partitions not only define the planimetric space but also underline the strong verticality of the residential volume. This results in open living spaces where functions flow smoothly, allowing light and nature to be integral parts of them.

Villa ABK is located on the prestigious Pearl Jumeirah Island in Dubai. It's a sculptural villa where the interplay of double-height volumes and reflections of light from the skylights define the internal architectural spaces in a blend of lights and shadows, solids and voids.
From a compositional perspective, the ample plot allowed for the strategic placement of the representative villa and outdoor spaces, directly overlooking the sea. Additionally, there's a recreational area that includes a sports area with a paddle court and lounge zones for relaxation. The villa is spread across four levels.
Villa ABK is a residence designed and tailored like a bespoke suit. The project lends the environment uniqueness and identity, where the theme of volumes and chiaroscuro are in perfect harmony. Various stone textures were deliberately selected for the fit-out of the entire residence, ranging from typical bamboo-like curves to fabric embroideries, and to the plasticity of pleats, thus creating ever-changing attire for the surfaces. Here, the ability to obtain different shades of color and reflections from the same material through processing comes into play.
The luxurious residence welcomes visitors with a voluminous Arabescato Orobico wall framing the dramatic 9-meter-high entrance door. On the ground floor lies the heart of the house, a vast open space called the majilis, characterized by spacious double-height areas and large windows, complemented by the presence of a dramatic mother-of-pearl chandelier, a play of materials coexisting in a spectacular interplay of light and shadow.
Iconic elements of the villa include: the sinuous Fior di Bosco marble staircase, connecting to the first floor, a sculptural element in curved stone enhanced by handcrafted 3D modeling; and the dramatic double-height kitchen, where the centerpiece is the 10-meter-long island entirely crafted from "Fior di Bosco" marble, intersected by a Canaletto Walnut wood slab for the buffet table. Marble floorings feature chevron-patterned marble geometries typically used for parquet flooring.
The rational play of volumes and textures emerges as an inspirational element for the external facades, defining their shapes and structure. The panels composing them are light and thin, incorporating decorative bas-reliefs that, when exposed to the sun, create particular and suggestive light effects. White dominates the external architecture, while the interior sees delicate and light shades of gray and green blending together, contrasted by the warm color of wood.
