The project is located in Huanglong Valley Park in Chengdu, playing an important role in showcasing and receiving visitors to the public. The design focuses on spatial openness and accessibility, using architecture as a medium to resolve traffic barriers caused by terrain differences and conveniently connect destinations at different elevations. Through an open design concept, a community space that can gather and disperse freely is constructed, creating a new type of residential and homecoming experience.

The project advocates the concept of green, low-carbon, and sustainable development, committed to achieving sustainable sharing of urban residential public spaces. Massively incorporating water features, striving to restore nature in a modern living environment. Through precise visual analysis in design, actively adapting to and utilizing the natural environment, such as terrain elevation differences and landscape resources, adopting a layered and staggered layout, making buildings and landscapes more closely connected, interwoven, permeated, and integrated.

We equally value the impact of the project on the surrounding environment. The large gray space connects the park with community residents, forming a continuous shared space. This is not only a public building, but also a shelter connecting humans and nature. Every resident can enjoy a comfortable life here, feel the charm of nature and humanistic care, and thus obtain spiritual tranquility and comfort.

Our design focuses on the continuity of external space, as well as the creation of open spaces at different scales and levels, and leverages the unpredictable natural vividness in the venue to create a fun and immersive experience of behavior. Through the fun of traveling, residents are encouraged to come out and enjoy nature better while increasing the possibility of neighborhood interactions. By connecting three green corridors to the external environment and adapting to the characteristics of the site, such as height differences, the site is divided into four sections. This not only creates a new natural environment and increases the richness of the landscape hierarchy, but also integrates the site, allowing for a more reasonable layout of different prototype units.

The dispersed, staggered, and dense layout maximizes the utilization of external landscape resources, forming a spatial pattern of "seeing mountains or not".
