SCARPA was founded in 1938 in the hills of Asolo, one of Veneto’s jewels, and it has become internationally popular thanks to the quality of its trekking, climbing and trail running footwear.
However, its engagement goes far beyond footwear production. In fact, the company has recently decided to significantly extend its company spaces, making its involvement and interest in innovation,in the wellbeing of its employees and in environmental sustainability remarkable.
This extension includes multi-purpose spaces, new offices, meeting and changing rooms, a modern company cafeteria and an enchanting vertical garden on the last floor.

One of the most distinguishing elements of this new extension is the vertical garden on the last floor of the building. This green space is not just an aesthetic detail, but also a true relaxation spot for the employees, who can spend some time outside while enjoying the panoramic view of Asolo’s hills. The garden is going to be composed of local plants and is not going to require high maintenance, as to promote biodiversity. The aim of this space is to favor the employees’ psycho-physical wellbeing.

The building, planned to favor a dynamic and stimulating working environment, is made of local building materials, such as concrete and stone. These raw materials contribute to evoke the history and geography of Asolo, which is full of traditions and natural beauties.

The offices are modern and luminous, and they are provided with the latest technologies in order to make daily work tasks easier. Every post is designed to guarantee comfort and efficiency and, at the same time, to promote cooperation between employees thanks to open spaces and common rooms.

The meeting rooms are an additional strong point of the extension. Their flexible configuration allows them to be easily adapted to different needs, like hosting workshops and presentations.

A project of integration and sustainability. SCARPA’s philosophy is clearly reflected in the architecture and management of company spaces. The usage of materials such as concrete and stone is not fortuitous: these elements convey the solidity and resistance of the mountains and rocks of Asolo, a symbol of strength and durability.

At the same time, the integration of multi-purpose spaces and company welfare services shows how the company is capable of combining tradition and innovation, efficiency and wellbeing.

Company welfare: wellness and life quality. SCARPA takes to heart company welfare and the extension makes no exception. For instance, the new company cafeteria is not only a place where to eat meals, but also a meeting spot that aims to socialization, where the employees are free to relax and recharge.

Furthermore, the well-equipped, modern changing rooms with showers and personal lockers contribute to the creation of a comfortable and welcoming working-environment.

The extension of the head office of SCARPA in Asolo represents a concrete example of how a company can invest in the wellness of its employees and on environmental sustainability. With its multi-purpose spaces, a high-quality cafeteria, advanced meeting rooms, modern changing rooms and its vertical garden, SCARPA continues developing while keeping its roots deep in the territory.
