Instead of designing a park consisting of a single mass, the way of using the water on the water, with separate ships, boats and water between them, inspired us to design a 3-part park with water in between. The mountainous structure of Switzerland has been a source of light for us by elevating this park at different points and creating a contrast with the flat park ground.Instead of a parking lot formed on a flat surface, we designed a project that references the mountainous topography of Switzerland with elevations at different points.

The steep mountains around Lake Lugano reveal themselves to us in the project with a staircase design ending with an observation deck, triangle-shaped jumping points into the water, and cafes and seating areas designed with flowery terraces.People can take a walk on Lugani beach, but to see the beach from a distance, you need to go out to the lake by boat. Thanks to this project, they will now have the opportunity to see the city from within the lake by looking at the beach from a distance.
The project is designed as a green space on water and increases the amount of green space in the world. At the same time, you can only access the floating park on foot and vehicle use is excluded from the project. This supports both people exercising more and reducing carbon emissions. By using wood on all surfaces in the project, it is aimed to reduce the carbon footprint and carbon emissions in the production of concrete.
The designed project is suitable for overwater settlement. Instead of an approach that isolates the lake from the project, it makes the lake a part of the project and the lake itself has become one of the design elements of the project.In the project, which consists of a combination of 3 islands, the outermost circular running and walking track offers a rational geometry, while the inner 2 islands have a curvilinear design like the shape of water, and the outer, completely circular island and the inner two curvilinear organic islands create a dynamic fiction with each other.The project is suitable for both pedestrian use and golden boat access and offers a new alternative to land use.
