The inspiration for this 6,800 sq. ft. duplex project in Mumbai stems from the clients, who are avid art enthusiasts with a stunning collection to showcase. The primary goal was to create a space that highlights their collection. The duplex is divided into public and private floors. The public floor, accessed through a glass door lobby, offers a dynamic backdrop of the Arabian Sea, enhancing the visual experience upon entry. Throughout the house, a monochrome theme predominates with white and black accents. In the lounge area, this shifts to a contrasting black-and-white scheme, enhancing the visual impact and serving as a backdrop to accentuate the displayed art pieces.

This project effectively integrates with its surroundings, particularly the view of the Arabian Sea. A glass door at the entrance frames the expansive sea view, creating a strong connection to nature and flooding the interior with natural light. This modern Worli apartment artfully combines architecture and art. Using a black-and-white palette, it highlights the client’s art collection, making it the centerpiece of the interior. The entrance features a striking glass door that frames a breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea, creating an immediate sense of openness and connection to nature.
