An architecture of staggered planes, a three-dimensional volume generated by the relationship between parallel and orthogonal surfaces and by the voids created by their arrangement in space, as happens in the skyline of a city, in the alternation between built environment and open space. A sculptural presence achieved exclusively through straight lines, a generative force born from water and its primordial action, a marble origami that appears to have come out of the wall it was placed against to express the full power of the material.

Skyline is a marble washbasin born from an architectural vision aimed at creating a dynamic composition of depth, perspectives, lights, and shadows. Engaging in a constant dialogue with light and its myriad directions, the material breathes life into an essential yet elegant washbasin. Its minimal surface design allows the natural stone to express itself, imparting character to the whole. This contemporary piece features an innovative overlap of two sheets that, viewed from the front, conceal the basin, intriguingly withholding its primary function while inviting exploration through scattered glimpses of light. Moving beyond the foreground, the basin unveils its entirety, suspended between two parallel planes like a bridge evoking the covered walkways that once linked noble palaces.

Like a modern sculpture made of regular planes that evokes the aesthetics of the avant-garde, Skyline brings modern art into the bathroom environment, infusing it with new meanings. A 'sheet of stone' perfect in its essentiality, animated by the unique veins of natural stone, overlapping shadows, and the continuous play of reflections generated by water. The design is not only a visual delight but also an embodiment of sustainability utilizing durable materials that respect the environment. By integrating natural elements and promoting long-lasting beauty, Skyline redefines luxury with a conscious approach to environmental stewardship.

A 'sheet of stone' perfect in its essentiality, brought to life by the unique veins of natural stone, overlapping shadows, and the continuous play of reflections generated by water. The polished and reflective interior indeed multiplies the figures, and the tactile quality of the sophisticated marbles enhances the multisensory experience of the washbasin area. Capable of fitting into environments of different styles, Skyline 'measures' the space, becoming a compositional module to rationalize the arrangement of furnishings and accessories, defining alignments, thicknesses, and proportional balances.

With Skyline, we aimed to create an architecture of staggered planes, a three-dimensional volume born from the relationship between parallel and orthogonal surfaces and the voids they form, echoing a city's skyline. This sculpture embodies a generative force inspired by water's primordial action. More than a marble washbasin, Skyline is a modern art piece that enriches the bathroom with new meanings, using unique stone veins and reflective surfaces to amplify the multisensory experience and seam

Curriculum

The firm is involved in private residential construction, commercial, industrial and public works, hospitality facilities and industrial design, comprehensively managing the process of creating, from concept to site, small- and large-scale architecture. At the beginning of each creative process, guidelines for the plan composition are generally deduced from the urban fabric and, from a series of setbacks from the street wires and empty space in elevation, the architectural form. To the essentiality of compositional gestures is added the use of as many elements of contemporary language, such as folding , interlocking, volumes, projections, voids and full chiaroscuro, masses and transparencies. Moreover, the use of different external skins contributes to the detection of his projects as the result of grafting between monolithic blocks. Designing architecture is a dynamic process, a path, which pushes for continuous new discoveries.
