Sage + Sound is a new wellness destination. Originally envisioned as a wellness marketplace, the founders wanted to create a destination for the best wellness brands, services, and treatments under one roof. They also wanted the guests to experience a curated program of products and self-care practitioners in a revitalizing and rejuvenating environment. The multi-offering space features a café, a study, a nail salon, and spa rooms. It is designed so that guests can enjoy the feeling of relaxation induced by warm neutral tones, oak floors, Venetian plaster walls, and luxurious furnishings. Tunable lighting throughout allows customization of light levels and moods in each zone, creating a serene spa-like setting for visitors and contributing to a sustainable environment.
The project, located in the heart of NYC, creates a dynamic contrast with its surrounding urban landscape. As you enter the space, you transition from the city's hustle into a decompression zone that immediately offers a sense of calm and serenity. This carefully designed environment appeals to all five senses, offering a stark yet refreshing opposition to the external bustle. The sound is mitigated, creating a peaceful auditory backdrop. The lighting is serene, soothing the eyes with a gentle ambiance. Fresh, local food tantalizes the taste buds and fills the air with inviting aromas. This harmonious interplay between the project and its urban context provides a holistic and rejuvenating customer experience, making it a serene oasis amidst the city's chaos.
